Good Day my name is Zizipho Jantjies, I would like to find out from the head of police what steps should I take to resolve a matter that I feel is not being acted on accordingly or let me rather say it's not taken seriously enough because it involves a member of the SAPS, about 3 weeks ago I was involved in a collision on the 28/09/2020 where a police van failed to stop at a stop sign where I had right of way and bumped into my private vehicle because they were rushing to stop an illegal protest that took place in Ashton,zolani western cape. I feel that there's a long delay in dealing with this case because after 3 weeks I still don't have tangible information in regards to this matter and the sad part is that I'm still paying off the vehicle. I'm not sure what to do now, should I ask or write to the IPID to intervene or should I contact the nearest Detective cluster. Please advise I will really appreciate that a lot.
