Honorable Minister Dr. Dlamini-Zuma

In 2013 we formed a Cooperative in Struisbaai, Western Cape and submitted an application for land with the Cape Agulhas Municipality. At that time we were assisted by the Local Economic Development Officer. Other Government and private institutions was also willing to assist and invest in our business. After years of trying to get answers and approval of a site for our intended business we didn't receive any clear answer.

I have the paper trail (2013 to date) of all correspondence and would like the opportunity to present it to a government official to look through it. We get the impression that we are deliberately put on hold while other people are receiving privileged treatment in obtaining land in the area.

We as Suidpunt Vis en Varsprodukte cooperative would like an opportunity to present our case as we feel that the Cape Agulhas Municipality is not acting in the interest of local economic development of the previous disadvantaged people.
