Madam,
I hope you will have had time to read my submission to your site of today's date. I worked as a volunteer with FOCHA, at Red Cross Children's Hospital for 4 happy and productive years. I can say it was the happiest time of my life ( I am now 77). On my last visit to the hospital, I was able to have a word with a few staff members. They were puzzled as to the reasons for our expulsion.
It is heartbreaking to see that people like Ma B will not be teaching anxious mums to do beadwork or Ronald will not be doling out porridge for hungry tummies and my storytelling team will be silent.
I am appealing to you to add your power to the campaign to find out why vulnerable and marginalised people have been denied the assistance of a dedicated team of volunteers.
