PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN
Hi good evening
My name is Mark I'm really unhappy how things is been conducted with the uifcovid19 relief fund.Im working for over 17 years contributing to uif and paye.l, never claimed UIF before.Just to find out in June that I can't claim uifcovid19ters.I moved on to another company after 9 and a half years, working 2 months for the new company.Just because of me moving from Cape Town City to the Cape Winelands for work I can't claim uifcovid19 relief funds, I think that's a bit insane. What really made me go insane is when I made contact with one of the call centre agents I explained my situation to her and her response to me was....it's just my bad luck and said I have to go and claim normal UIF.Now you tell me what must I think of that service. As a contributor for years im discussed by the service i got.People who ain't working for years or even never did contribute to uif and paye is receiving funds, now don't you think that's unfair. For a person who works in the hospitality industry it's very hard and even harder to find work if our establishment not going to open for business.
I've been asking for help and assistants for over 2 month's and no one can help me or give me a realistic answer...to top up on that I'm suffering from high blood pressure and hypertension and my meds is running low
I really need help.

Kind Regards
Mark
