The major concern we have is the right to life of law-abiding citizens as enshrined in the constitution of South Africa.
Crime is escalating at an alarming rate, whereby the criminals perpetrating these crimes are becoming increasingly violent.
Taking away a means to effectively defend oneself is effectively denying us a right to defend our lives in the potential case of a violent criminal act against family or oneself.
The State has not provided adequate security via the effective deployment of Saps resources.
