Good day Mister Commissioner,

I truly pray this message finds you well,

We have all been victims of crime and what I know is that the police are good at catching these parasites.
What I am going to recommend is proactive but yes quite controversial, we still catch them after they commit crime, but in the split second after and here is how:

I recommend a new agency be created made up of ALL South Africans, every single type, young, old, male, female, every race, every language, representing every kind of person that has been targeted by thieves, rapists, murderers, robbers.
We train them to go out and live life, as normal people who are affected by crime. Then we send them to high crime areas to entrap these criminals.

They must have a picnic in public parks (while backup is close and under their civilian clothes they are fully protected and armed). Robbers WILL come, and what happens afterwards will be beautiful.

They must walk the beach, from a distance just two normal holiday makers, but actually armed and protected with a team in constant communication.
A knife will be drawn, someone will demand their camera and phone ... surprise surprise.

They must drive normal cars, windows down and stop at traffic lights at night. Normal people coming home from a party. But they are armed and protected, all four passengers even through the ones sitting in the back are clothed in black and invisible. The car behind them is also actually armed and ready to react.
And when the hijackers appear out of nowhere as they always do, they will be getting in another car that night... but on the way to jail.

You see Mister Commissioner, if this is done for a year, criminals will not be sure, is the person walking alone really alone, is it really just a normal person or perhaps another trap that could kill them. They will be too scared to act because so many of their criminal friends have been shot while trying their luck.
They will find another country to mess up because the police have beat them at their game.

If our team targets the high crime areas first but after also move out to every area of this country, nowhere will be safe to strike for robbers meaning everywhere will be safe for me and you.

You will not only find attackers without truly looking, you will make every normal South African a possible RISK, rather than a Possible target for these criminals.

Please consider the idea, it comes from a good place.
