I had a R230,000 home loan with FNB. After seven years I asked for a settlement amount. The bond had decreased by only R10,000. I added all my contributions and I came to a shocking R244,000. So I paid R220,000 but they still wanted more. Additional amounts came to R8000+.

To be accurate, I paid FNB R228,000 to settle a R230,000 home loan after seven years. A net interest of R244,000 was counted on R2000 according to me. I still have statements which you can use assist your case.
