I am presently a Reservist Sergeant in the South African Police Services for the past 30 years.. Stationed at Bayview SAPS in Durban.. I'm also a Paramedic for the past 34 years presently employed by Department of Health In Emergency Medical Services..KZN
I have worked on numerous units within my department and the Saps.. I worked on helicopters and aircraft airplanes.. Mountain/ Sea Rescue operations I worked on Search and Rescue Units. Dog Unit.. Flying Squad. Highway Patrol Accident Collision Units and many other Units in SAPS. I treated sick and injured weather it be in my department as a paramedic or in the Saps as a police member.. Treating off duty and on duty police members and there families..
I have a passion for what I'm trained to do.. I have not had a single complaint or disciplinary action to date with regards to my work my performance or my behavior.. I always served the community as a whole, free and fair and treated everyone alike and with love...i am always committed and respected the Saps and believe for what they stand for..
Due to my special training and my field I feel that I should now be promoted to a Captain in comparison and Catorgory Class to what I do...Special Field... it will give me more responsibility and I will be able to function at a better level.. I am working on a voluntary basis at SAPS and would not benefit from the saps in anyway. I just feel being promoted is the best way of saying thank you for the committed and dedicated work that I'm am doing at SAPS. I can also improve the saps with my knowledge skills my training and experience
I also meet all the criteria in terms of being promoted to a Reservist Captain. I am firearms competent and done all my training.. I also have my code 14 valid drivers license. I am Rescue trained health safety advanced defense driving trained and many more qualified training. My CV is available on request
