Good day Deputy Minister.Hope all is well. I am Sandile Masuku from Tshwane University of Technology. i graduated this year for a B-tech in Policing. as Policing graduates we face a big challenge, many of us are sitting at home without work even though we now have qualification. the system used by the SAPS is currently denying us an opportunity of becoming police officer, it is very painful for us to compete with people who only has matric. many of us have passed the psychometric test test but we never received any call for physical fitness test.

Minister as graduates we have compiled a list with all names of those with qualifications and provided a description of what qualification we poses. we are now appealing to you to look into this matter can a least be 80% of those with qualification in the Policing field who get the first preference when it comes to recruitment processes. and then 20% of those with matric. The proposed idea does not only help in enhancing the image of the SAPS as a whole but also helps the government form spending more money educating the members since already they have tertiary education.
Minister we used the state funds (NSFAS) to study now we receive call from Debt collectors asking us to pay back the money which was loaned to us, we cant do that since we are not working and that is stressing us.

we would like to set up a meeting with you so that we can further discuss this and develop ideas on how we can solve this issue collectively
