We are The 4th Generation Initiative — a political education platform dedicated to equipping young Africans with the ideological tools to make sense of and transform Africa's politics.

We have recently published a conversation on Pan-Africanism — tracing the arc from Du Bois and Nkrumah to the African Union and the tasks facing this generation. In light of the recent episodes of xenophobia across South Africa, we believe the EFF's perspective on Pan-Africanism is one that young Africans urgently need to hear — and interrogate.
