Could you please assist us? We've been complaining now for more than 10 years about the housing. We keep getting the brush off with the same story we heard 15 years or more ago. We have emailed several people in the past and the housing db but to no avail. There are single old people living in 2 and 3 bedroom flats here in the area we applied while we are families with kids that have been on the housing waiting list for 20 years! Why must we wait 40 years before we can be eligible for a place? Why does a single old person need a 2 or 3 bedroom flat? Why are people from outside areas being put into the flats we applied for and why are some of us being shipped to areas we didn't apply in? We so tired of hearing the same excuses and for being punished. Punished because you married someone 6 years after you applied for housing, because they used to own a government flat that you weren't aware of! How is this legal?? How is it that other people who are 8 years on waiting list have a connection in housing to get them quicker into one of the housing projects?? We are 4 families that have been fighting for years now !
