My name is Ephraim Ntombela, and I am a resident of the Mountain View informal settlement in Soweto Braamficher. I am reaching out on behalf of our community, as we are currently facing an eviction by the City of Johannesburg.

We have taken the matter to the High Court, and the hearing is scheduled for 12 May 2025. On that day, we are planning a peaceful march to the court in support of our legal representative who will be defending our right to adequate housing and dignity.
