Dreams were meant to fly.

To whom it may concern:

My name is Liyema Langa, I am a 17 year old boy with very big dreams from a very small city in the Eastern Cape, Gqeberha. I am a young multi-talented, bubbly and energetic boy full of life. Who believes in dreaming big or going home. I come from a just below middle class family which by all means tries and works hard to give me a proper education.
From a very young age, I have always known what my purpose in life is. I have always known what I have been set out to achieve. I have always known that my true purpose is to stories tell through entertainment. I have wild dreams to be part of the Entertainment Industry otherwise professionally known as the Media world. I have dreams on becoming a professional Actor, musician, presenter and everything that you can think of in the show business as I am not about limiting myself.
Throughout the years I have worked very hard in making sure that my dreams will one day become a reality. I have worked hard, as every day is a challenge for me, waking up to a society and community whereby if you have dreams you are viewed to be naive. I live in a community whereby I am exposed to different types of things such as drugs, teenage pregnancy, school dropouts etc. However my positivity and goal determination has resulted in me achieving great success that will help me in my passion of storytelling in the media space. I am also not about to stop working hard if not harder.
However this is where everything takes a curve ball the amazing dream I have that nobody can help in achieving except me and whoever is reading my letter.
For many years Africans more especially South Africans have been undermined when it comes to show business talent and my calling is to showcase what South African Talent is to the world. My calling is to put Africa on the map, as much as it may sound cliché it is very much what l am all about. This is a dream I am willing to fight for, many that have come before me have failed as they cared too much of what people have had to say. I have been mocked by many and told I am being to overly utopian, however this is my dream and I will not let anybody try and stop me from perusing it.
The main reason of me writing his letter is to seek for help. Seek for help with regards to you helping me achieve my dreams, as I've mentioned above. I would really love if you would truly help me by sponsoring me in furthering my studies in one of the top film institutions abroad. The New York Film Academy. In my years after matric, being next year. I have already been excepted but I don’t have the funds.
This would be really life changing for me as it would mean being more than a step ahead in putting not only my country but my whole entire continent on the map.
Words on this letter can't really explain my eagerness for my plea. Therefore I would be more than happy if we could possibly-have a meeting so I can explain everything and answer any questions available at hand, should it be necessary.
A wise man once told me to always fight for what you believe truly belongs to you as well as your dreams because if you don’t nobody is going to do it for you.
