Dear Dr. Schreiber, I am an South African and my wife is from Mozambique. After much Ado we managed to get our marriage registered in SA about five years ago. While traveling my son was born two months premature in Uganda. We were advised at the SA embassy in Uganda to do his birth registration in SA as this would take at least four months from there. We filled in the necessary documents so that my son could travel to SA. After submitting the registration documents at HOme Affairs at Barkley West NC we were told that his registration would take three months. Three months have passed and there is still no reply. I am working in Uganda and my family cannot be with me because of this delay. Fortunately my wife has a spousal Visa to stay in SA for this time. I have to pay for accommodation in SA and Uganda. Is there any way that this process can be expedited.
You r soonest response will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
