PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

As a citizen and persons with disability i am reaching out to bring to your attention the pressing issues affecting numerous people living with disability.We financially benefiting from government however it is not enough.on behalf of persons with disabilities we asking the following from EFF together with government.

Key points

1. HOUSING
EFF and Government to build houses ( wheelchair friendly)for us .

2.TRANSPORTATION
EFF and government to subsidise us with transport.hiring a car everytime we want to travel it is too expensive.uber sometimes would cancel our trips because of wheelchair.taxi is very high.

3.STADIUMS
Whenever we go to stadium ,inside we dont have a designated area for disabled especially with big games. We dont watch games comfortably.

4.EDUCATION
please empower us with education

5.JOB OPPORTUNITIES
We asking for a job as persons with disabilities.I will make our lives easier.
Some of us are been rejected by our employer.if we work it we will be able to a lot for ourselves.

6.COMPENSATION FUND (COIDA)

The consistent late payments have caused significant financial hardship and distress to those relying on these funds. This issue warrants urgent attention and investigation. Sometimes we go 2 3 4 months with payments.that time some need to pay rent.
Recurring delays in COIDA pension payments
- Adverse impact on beneficiaries' financial stability and well-being
- Need for swift resolution and improved communication

7.DONATIONS
we asking for donations to go to Thailand for treatment of spinal cord injuries.

8. MORE MONEY
Standard of living is too high.we asking you to engage with COIDA and SASSA to increase our monthly allowance .
