Dear Mr Tim Brauteseth

We are members of the DA

Thank you,the DA assisted us when we had a problem with Home Affairs. A problem that took Home Affairs 3 year's to resolve after, the DA pointed us in the right direction and connected us with the right people in the DA, the problem was resolved in 3 day's!!

Thank you so much!!My wife and I appreciate it.

We are in a serious crisis right now and need help, guidance and to be pointed to the right authorities.

Both of us work (We are 60)

My wife is a teacher at Meridian School,She has just now received a notice for retrenchment.

Previously I was in Bussiness.

I discounted some of my debtors with a company and handed some debtors to them for 'non asset collection's "by this company, for our benefit as they convinced us about their effectiveness in doing this. They had a Chartered Accountant and an attorney on the premises.

The retention(money kept behind as security)was due Long ago !!!

Statement of collections is not available(The company is not supplying the statements-of our debtors that should be 'non asset collection's for them 'when we asked for it )

The company, in a court of law against SARS(summonsed by SARS),judgement was given and the judge made judgement that they are using delaying tactics in paying company taxes,PAYE,VAT (case number can be supplied)SARS did not completely understand how the taxes were diluted and evaded. So a lot of tax may still be outstanding .The managing director at that time when his financial director expressed fear, boasted how a"financial&Tax guru"costing R10000/hour is assisting them.Paid with what money?(ours?)

The same is done to us-the delaying of payouts, unfortunately we don't have the resources like SARS to take them to a high court. The amount due to us is more than R6 million due to us.-You can call it our life savings!!.

Currently we are struggling financially,if my wife is retrenched we cannot make it!!

I have opened a case at SAICA and IRBA-Only fragments of financial statements were given to us,it is manipulated and incomplete.

Where else can we get assistance?

The company who discounted and collected our debtors is a private company Pty (Ltd.)with one shareholder and two directors

I would like to know what we can do:-

To declare the 2 directors delinquent?(There is extremely valuable assets in their own names such as Lamborghini,Ferrari,Porsche etc

How can we get a forensic audit done on this company?

The words malignant narcissist culture was used for the management style and culture created by Tom Moyane at SARS (And your efforts and contributions in getting rid of him is greatly appreciated, thank you). When I confronted SARS with proof and our own statement of my wife's medical expenses (she had cancer),the Tax Ombudsman agreed that SARS manipulated and delayed her tax refund.Which we eventually received exactly to the cent of the amount initially claimed by us, but delayed for about 6 months due to the culture Moyane created.(We are both tax compliant and in good standing with SARS)

Unfortunately the same culture exist at this company!

The debtors outstanding dues, were inflated to 600%of the original capital-only adjusted when the in duplum rule was enforced.

My Personal loan from them broke the in duplum rule-I had to repay 400% of the original capital. The financial director gave me a me a paid up letter and consent For a rescission of judgement-which the court rescinded. But they continued to collect money from me as I needed a facility to Discount debtors.

The company will only pay us when they feel The fear of loss for themselves (eg.having to pay outstanding taxes, having their opportunity to trade revoked, licences to operate removed etc.)There is a complete lack of contrition, only a selfcentred focus on personal enrichment at all cost regardless of the people that is hurt (there are thousands of people exploited this way)or any laws broken.

They ignore our calls and e-mails, as they are aware that our disposable income leaves very little or nothing to take them to the high court

Are they under a obligation to provide the complete statements not given to us?

Must they have a credit license?

Do the FSB. have authority over them ?They sell insurance with the credit.

I am sure taxes still is a problem as a offshore account is involved.

Where else can we get assistance?

Just a suggestion (for the elections)

Most people (myself included)does not really understand the difference between millions, billions, trillions of rand!

The voters need to be made aware how those amounts stolen/corruption/wasted affected them personally

The current government will be remembered for corruption and inefficiency.

I have personally been to a clinic in lady frere (rural areas in eastern cape)where the nurse in charge had to get in her own car and with her own cost drove to Head office Department of health in Bisho where the parking Bay has got cars that would make Apple executives feel inferior.

Million Rand takes 23 day's,counting R1 every second.

Billion Rand-69years(Yet it is casually used in todays exposure of corruption)

The voters need to understand how much have been stolen from them! And how good governance will benefit them on a personal level.

We would appreciate it if you can give us some guidance/refer us to the right authorities with our problem

We remain great supporters of you and the efforts you put into what you do

All the very best for the future.

Kind regards

Leonardo and Lynette Slabbert

Dear Leonardo,

My assistance as an MP is limited to oversight of government function. As such, I cannot get involved in private matters.

In regard to your dispute with the company, I would suggest you engage an attorney.

In regard to the allegations against the company regarding SARS or FSB, I would suggest that you report these matters to SARS and FSB.

Kind Regards,

TIM BRAUTESETH MP
DA Spokesperson : Standing Committee for Public Accounts (SCOPA)
