My granddaughter was born on the 21 October 2019 in Doha Qatar. In November 2019 my son applied for a birth certificate and passport at the South African embassy in Qatar. To date he has not received any of the above mentioned documents.

Qatar has very strict rules about births in their country and the child has to have a Qatar residents permit within 90 days from the date of birth. To apply for the residents permit in Qatar my son has to have both the South African birth certificate as well as the South Africa Child Passport.

The reason why I am reaching out to you is because the embassy in Qatar has told my son that there is nothing that they can do to assist him in obtaining the documents.

Could you please assist because we do not have any other recourse to obtain my grand daughters birth certificate and passport.
