Dear Mr Schreiber

Mr Darren Clive Mead has been trying to get an appointment to collect his passport from Krugersdorp Home Affairs for months. I have been assisting him and tried securing an appointment on the dha website to no avail. Every attempt is met with 'No slots available' messages.
Mr Mead went to Krugersdorp Home Affairs in person, but was turned away because he didn't have an appointment.
Furthermore, I tried phoning the Contact Centre as well as the Home Affairs head office. The numbers rang a few times and then disconnected.
Today Mr Mead received an email from Home Affairs stating that his passport would be destroyed should he not be collected within three months.
How should we proceed to collect his passport considering that we can not make an appointment nor speak to anyone on the phone?
Please assist us with this issue?
