Subject: Urgent Assistance Required for Citizenship Application
Dear Leadership,
I hope this email finds you well.
My name is Palesa Potlaki, and I am writing to seek your assistance with my citizenship application process. I initially applied for citizenship at the Bloemfontein Home Affairs office in 2012, where verification was required. Unfortunately, my application was rejected in 2013. After a lengthy and challenging process, I re-submitted my application in September 2021. However, due to changes in laws during the Covid-19 pandemic, my application was held back at the Bloemfontein office.
On 19th September 2022, my application was sent from Bloemfontein Home Affairs to the Pretoria office, but it was returned with the reason that verification was required again in Bloemfontein. I am perplexed as to why my application was returned for verification despite it being completed previously and even redone before the file was sent to Pretoria.
I am seeking clarification on why my application cannot be processed and why it is being sent back and forth for something that has already been completed. The prolonged waiting period and repeated verifications have been incredibly frustrating and stressful for me.
I kindly request your intervention and assistance in resolving this matter. I have complied with all the requirements over the years, yet I am still facing delays and confusion regarding the processing of my application.
