Dear Mr Minister,

It's been a good few months now since you have made the 2nd covid booster available to the over 50's age group. Can you kindly advise as to why it has still not been opened up to anyone who would like a 2nd booster for added protection seeing that vaccine uptake is still fairly low?

Please can you kindly give this matter your urgent attention, it will be appreciated.

While vaccine uptake in SA remains low and many seem to have forgotten the horrors of the past 2 years, there are still some of us like myself and my family who are still very much aware that covid is still out there and want to protect ourselves and those around us. We have already lost too many loved ones to this virus.

Festive season is upon us, and with that comes lots of crowds, gatherings and lots of tourists and who knows if all of this will amount to further variants and mutations of this virus.

Please give us the choice to get a 2nd booster shot without these age limitations anymore. I sincerely appeal to you.
