Dear Portfolio Committee on Basic Education
It is of such a great concern to me that government is passing a bill which seek to criminalizes and forces a mad and evil agenda onto our precious teachers and parents!
This proposed bill will destroy our nation and raise criminals and no-good citizens with lots of very bad issues (psychologically, physically and spiritually).
What good or benefit can come out of putting teachers and parents in jail that don't subject to the bill!
Most teachers and parents try their best to make ends meet in an already difficult economy. Rather help and support them and put initiatives in place for sponsorships and bursaries. Involve the communities more!! Tackle the issues positively!!!
I say no to this stupid clause and object to any criminalization of parents and teachers!
What benefit can children have if not instructed or educated in their own language?! At least try to accommodate them!
I am concerned about the clauses regarding the implementation of CSE in schools and allowing children to have abortions without parental consent!!
This is overstepping very personal boundaries!!
It is an absolute evil, stupid, mad idea and I severely object against it!!!
The parents and they only, have the privilege to teach their children about sex and nobody else!!!!
What is the idea behind the clause criminalizing parents and teachers? I do not trust that it has the children's best interest at heart, at all. Government want to weaken society, evoke fear and gain more power. So; no to this clause. I object strongly against it!
Taking away the power of the school boards, show that government wants to slip doctrines and curriculums in and no one will be able to do something about it. No religious values. No high standards and loving rules to protect the children!
I strongly object to this clause.
And lastly I want to know what about learners with special needs or extremely talented pupils. What will become of them?
The parents and teachers should have an input in the curriculum.
My conclusion is that this new bill is designed to do more harm than good and has a completely different agenda than what the government is pretending. The idea behind it all is to brainwash children with their own beliefs and to continue with their despicable plans. Their is nó genuine concern for our children whatsoever.
Leave our children alone!
Yours faithfully
Betsie Marais
