I trust this message finds you well. I am a final year student at CPUT, doing B Ed in Intermediate Phase Teaching. I've been doing very well with my studies over the past 4 years and I am struggling with NSFAS funding since April 2020. I fall under the N+2 category. I was glad when you announced that N+2 students who are doing final year will be funded. To my disappointment, I am still not funded.

My funding status has changed for several times. In July I was funded for the first time and I received an allowance. Thereafter I was told that my status has changed to unfunded again.

You are my last hope, as I tried to communicate with the University and NSFAS and I have been sent back and forth. I am exhausted and this has been a very difficult year for me as a student.
