I trust this finds you in good faith and health. The current Covid-19 pandemic is causing great distress within the nations, but its not one that will tame the human spirit. I believe we will find new interventions within the educational sphere to deal with this.
May i please direct your attention to my NSFAS issue. I submitted my application in 2019, and upon many communique with NSFAS my application was accepted, deeming me funding eligible. Hence with this eligibility it allowed me to register at the University (this after NSFAS has done all their 3rd party checks). Furthermore, enrolled at university, attending classes, submitting assignments I received an email to submit my banking information to receive my allowance that took place in February. I requested numerous updates as to when allowances will be paid, only to receive an email in April 2020, that I do not qualify for an allowance because my income exceeds R122k (this after I was deemed funding eligible and all 3rd party checks was done, after allowing me to register.) I am unemployed, and my household income is far below the R350K. I have been at university for the past 4 months. NSFAS really dropped the ball. I have gone from pillar to post without success, now they say that my application is being processed. Please be so kind as to assist me in this regards.
