Dear Mr Chikunga
National Learner Transport Policy ( No. 997) of 23 Oct 2015 was developed in collaboration with the Dept of Basic Education, signed by former Minister of transport Ms Dipuo Peters. She further instructed all Premiers, HODs, Directors etc in all 9 provinces to implement NLTP.
All 8 province have implemented NLTP except Limpopo Province.
Mr S Matsena HOD, Ms Koedyk (Chief Director ), Mme Florence Radzilani(MEC), Ntate Mathabatha (Premier ) Mr Ndala (Registrar) and other Directors in the Dot- Limpopo Province are refusing to formalise our scholar cooperatives since 2015.
Non-subsidised scholar transport in Limpopo is owned by 69% of women . We are competing with Uber, Bolt and other kombis with registered numbers of MP, NW, FS, EC, foreign registrations Zimbabwe ,Lesotho, Botswana. This happens in front of The Law Enforcement .
Our learners are kiiled by these transports that don't have scholar permits
We hereby request intervention from your office.
