Dear Sir, i am a service provider for the outsourced student accomodation thats sevicing the Durban University of Technology, ALL landlords that are contracted to the university are now in distress as the DUT is refusing to fulfill their rental obligations thus resulting in a break in supply chain, these contracted service providers residences are still occupied with students belongings as well as keys for entry are still in possession of the students, to my understanding of the presidents speech was that rentals need to be paid, in this scenario NSFAS has paid the University for accommodation so there is no reason to not pay the service providers, there will be alot of employees effected as well as 3rd party service providers eg. Security companies, Internet companies etc, i wish you receive this news and consider this matter as this is not only a breach in the contractual obligations, it is also a gesture that is against the the directive of the presidents speech
