Minister Gwede Mantashe, we understand you are too busy with global commitments across the country but what does the department of MRE do if the mines are not practicing compliance as it's the first thing to consider, in terms of developing the impacted and affected communities by the their operations before they can source any company to bring a unique services, how do you intervene in a situation where by the mine itself doesn't care about the livelihoods of those impacted and affected by the operation on daily basis,
Especially in core business opportunities which we have read their approaches stating that they are willing to work with communities on core businesses but nothing has been given to local communities around Steelpoort area,. I'm referring to steelpoort because I'm staying there, I won't mention other areas which I don't know their relationship with their mines.
