Mr Cele I urge you to please intervene at the Tsakane Police Station. I have reported cases of GBV numerous times as a victim in vain. Instead the police who are supposed to help me make a mockery of my situation. On top of that they tip off the person am reporting. The latest incident happened this weekend on the night of 21 November 2020. I was beaten up by the man who claims to love me. I went to the police station to report the matter. I was told its common assault I can't open a case, in the mean time another officer not in uniform walked in and made a mockery of my plea as I was asking that when will they act when am dead or when there is a corspe. As I walked out a lady at the front desk called me and asked if I got help. She called a van. When we got to the perpetrators house he first denied that he isn't there. I told the police that he is the one responding. He opened the door and said he was waiting for us to arrive. Instead of attending to the matter at hand the 2 police officers became buddy buddy with him and started chit chatting. I left the house seeing that nothing was being done. A few minutes later the perpetrator bust into my house with the intent of beating me up again for reporting him to the police. He was stopped by my friends who were in my house. He was shouting that he will never be arrested the police are his friends. I could go on and on, but this is the short version of events.
