I have been struggling with the Maintenance Court for a couple of years now and the incompetency and pure neglect have led to such frustration. I'm sorry to say that the courts DO NOT have the best interests of the children. The court staff have ignored every instruction given by the Magistrates. My ex has failed to pay his maintenance for the past 3 + years, never appeared in court upon request. I have laid complaints against the court with the Presidency and all I got was your case has been resolved! I would highly appreciate it if you could make contact with me as you would be highly disgusted with the way, we as single mothers get treated within the courts, it's appalling. My next step is to start litigation against the NPA, Minister of Justice as well as the maintenance officers in their personal capacity. I am one in thousands that have experienced the poor service delivery from the courts. I have contacted the DA, Gayton MacKenzie, The Presidency, NPA, the Chief Magistrate, Chief Prosecutor, Senior Magistrate, IFP, you name it, with NO success, so now I plead to you.
