I'm writing on Can you please assist me in this matter. I'm writing on behalf of my 2 sons. They worked at a bar/restaurant for over a year and the other one for about 8 months. They got retrenched 31 August 2023.They received no overtime pay, Sunday pay, no leave, no contract. Although the owner deducted UIF it was never paid in by the owner. They couldn't draw UIF for the past year.

They filled in ALL the necessary documents with evidence of overtime, paysheets and even affidavits. All the employees at that time filled in all the documents. This documents was handed in the 1st of May 2023 at our local Department of Labour here in Kariega. They have been at the Department a few times but everytime there was excuses or the people working with the case is in a meeting or on leave.

I've contacted several other people through email but no response. The person dealing with this matter at our Department is Mr Blessing. If you aren't able to help me will you direct me to the correct person.
