I am writing this email to express my concern regarding the non-disbursement of the remaining allowances owed to Funza Lushaka Beneficiaries. The sponsor paid the institution about a week ago however our debts have not yet been cleared, first year students are still being given the run around for their School experience allowances, some students have not received their Accommodation allowances and we have not yet received our registration refunds. There are students who had not received their registration refunds in the previous year and to this day those students are still waiting. We have been seeking for intervention from the Director of the financial aid office but we can't seem to get the intervention we need & the staff from the Financial Aid Office that deals with the Funza Lushaka Bursary are very incompetent, therefore I request your intervention in this matter as it beyond our control.
It is highly excruciating that as recipients of this bursary we always find ourselves fighting for what is rightfully ours, we plead with you that you kindly look into this matter and treat it with utmost urgency as we are only left with 4 days before the institution closes for the year.
