Dr George Mukhari Hospital

My 52yrs old brother with a Congenital Abnormality of a Down Syndrome was admitted at the above Hospital in March 2025 for Psychosis and spent only one week (admitted in a Medical ward). On Discharge on March 30th he could not walk nor hold small weights like food. Couldn't direct food to his own mouth. On the 24th April 2025 I took him back to Hospital for Doctors to investigate the cause of the above problems. Between date of discharge 30th March and this date 24th April he had a review in other 2 Depts of this hospital. Specialists of these 2 Depts couldn't understand how my brother's condition reached the state he was in.This patient had no appointment to be seen on this day but I took him back to hospital because of a need to know what led weakness of his limbs. I lodged a complain to the Nursing Administration and to Doctors who re-admitted him on the 24th. On the 29th April one of these doctors informed their Senior who said he was only notified about this
re-admission on its 5th day post admission. A scan was already done on the 25th April and it revealed that he had suffered a Stroke. No Dr informed me about the scan results until this whole
non-transparency came to the Senior Dr's attention following my persistence to complain to Doctors attending him .When admitted in March I asked to see the Dr who was seeing my brother but that Dr only availed herself on the day of this patient's discharge 30th March. When I asked clarity about all her findings, she gave the newly diagnosed condition that led this patient to Psychosis and told me that there was nothing else to explain. She said that she took bloods and said that there were no infections on blood results. Then she gave an appointment for a review in 4 months with 3 collections of Monthly treatments.
