Firstly congratulations on this important position and all the best.

Please assist me with my application for naturilisation. I got married to my husband in 2005 and have 2 children that are now 17 and 10 years old. I would love to finally become a citizen of this country.

I have my permanent residence and applied for naturalisation back on 1 October 2013. Since then my application has not been issued and even the home affairs department in my current town did not see why it was not taken to the finish line.

It is now 2024 and I have been married for 19 years and I still dream of becoming a citizen. My husband and children are South African citizens. Born and raised here. Please help me.

My documents are all at home affairs and in complete order.
