Dear Mam Ntombovuyo Nkompane,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to request your assistance in identifying the appropriate person or department within the hierarchy to escalate a serious issue affecting Chintsa East Drive, which falls under the Great Kei Municipality in the Eastern Cape.
A section of the road has been severely eroded and is now undercutting the main access route into Chintsa East. Despite ongoing efforts by the Chintsa East Ratepayers' Association (CERPA) over the past year, no action has yet been taken to address this dangerous situation.
Chintsa East Drive is the sole access road into our village. Should it collapse entirely, the community will be completely cut off, posing significant safety and logistical risks.
We would greatly appreciate any guidance or support you can provide in ensuring that urgent attention is given to this matter.
Thank you in advance. I look forward to your response.
Warm regards,
Mrs Rose Clark
Secretary, Chintsa East Ratepayers' Association
