Dearest Minister Gayton McKenzie

I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of MTN, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you as the new Minister of Sport, Arts, and Culture. Please accept our congratulations on your appointment, and be assured of our highest respect and support as you undertake this important role.

My name is Yao Ayivor, I am an End-to-End Solution Specialist at MTN Group, proud father of 3 and very concern legal citizen. I am writing to present as a former Tennis, Rugby, Athletics, Cross Country, Swimming rep for CPA School, Border UNITRA and Transkei (1989-1997: Vra vir die General Holomisa, Hey ken van my.), a comprehensive proposal that addresses the critical needs of the Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture (DSAC) regarding the enhancement of ICT cloud, security, IOT, Voice, Reports, record-keeping and archiving capabilities.

In alignment with the Department’s vision of protecting and preserving South Africa’s documentary heritage and identity, our proposal focuses on leveraging cutting-edge technology to strengthen the archiving area of your work. We understand that effective governance, efficiency, and accountability are fundamentally linked to the proficient management of public records. Our proposed solution aims to support these objectives by incorporating advanced AI-driven analytics and modern ICT infrastructure.
Key Aspects of Our Proposal Include:
AI-Driven Analytics: Our AI analytics platform provides in-depth analysis of sports operations, performance metrics, and financial data, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance overall performance and efficiency.
Modern Archival Systems: We propose the development and implementation of a state-of-the-art national archive system that integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure, ensuring long-term preservation of critical records using 4IR technologies.
Staff Training and ICT Improvement: We will provide comprehensive training for your staff and enhance ICT systems to improve record-keeping practices and operational efficiency.
We believe that our innovative solutions will significantly contribute to the Department’s objectives, particularly in the context of the feasibility study for a modern national archive. We are keen to collaborate closely with the DSAC to tailor our solutions to meet your specific needs and ensure successful implementation.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss our proposal in detail and explore how MTN can support the Department in achieving its goals. Please find the proposal attached for your review.
I am available at your convenience for a meeting to further elaborate on our proposed solutions.
Thank you for considering our proposal. I look forward to the possibility of working together to enhance South Africa’s archival capabilities and contribute to the preservation of our collective heritage.

Warm regards,

Yao Ayivor
