Dear Deputy Minister Holomisa,
I listened and studied the Ministers Budget speech, and I have the follow question which I really would appreciate some clarity. I am hoping that you woudl be able to assist us.

MILITARY VETERANS’ ADVISORY COUNCIL – The Minister stated “the statutory Military Veterans’ Advisory Council is in place. This body is even more important now that the Department is in the process of finalizing the review of the Act.” May the Minister please state:
a. How often has this Council has met last year
b. Will it be looking at changing the definition of a Military Veteran
c. Will it also be looking at changes to the DMV regulations especially with regards to how long applications should take to be finalised.
d. How will the Council work with SANMVA going forward.
