Hi Mr Lonzi,
We have just heard you speaking on ENCA with regards to the Setas and the minister’s bad handling of the situation.
You were refreshing to say the least. My son and I were so charmed by your thought processes, your manner and your obvious knowledge about the subject you were discussing.
I am a 72 year old previously advantaged South African. I have voted for Julius Malema on previous occasions, however his “ rantings” and rhetoric over the years have left me concerned about his leadership and intentions.
I love this country. The happiest day of my life was 27th April 1994.
I am devastated by the continued suffering of 80% of our People. Corruption has destroyed the hopes, aspirations and rights of all who fought for the liberation of this country as well as those who supported the freedom fighters in their day to day lives. They sacrificed their husbands, their lovers, their fathers, their sons, their brothers, their sisters, their cousins, their neighbours, their friends!! How then have we become so self centred, greedy, self serving and how have we lost the basic humanity of African Ubuntu.
Please, please do something monumental to turn the tide of this destruction of our People.
Please, please do something to alleviate their moment to moment suffering .
It is iniquitous that the money is in the hands of about 10% of our people who live the life of Marie Antoinette and co. while 90% live in abject poverty and suffering!
You are a political Man, you exude honour and integrity, please never lose that and please use your position to do something to turn the tide, to bring back hope and opportunity for our people.
To influence our leaders to become proponents of integrity, honour, good governance and concern for the well being of all our people.
I am accused of being an Idealist, which I take with open arms as a compliment.
The Youth are South Africa’s only hope for the future.
Please take a moral stand and lead us into the sunshine that is there for all South Africans.
With gratitude and hope.
