After exhausting all available avenues, i am yet to receive my pro rata pension payout for the period 1972 to 1984. I exited the education system having accepted a chaotic offer of a severance package after serving as a teacher in Gauteng Department of Education and therafter in the Eastern Cape.
I furnished all the documentary proof pertaining to the unpaid period to the office of MEC Phanyaza Lesufi as requested by the official Simon Mziwakhe Kubheka who seemed to be resolving the matter.
Soon after that he disappeared from the scene and I was unable to acces that office. The final straw was when the chief administration clerk of Ekurhuleni south office,Alberton Ms Veronica Madihlaba claimed that the money was paid out but failed to provide proof thereof.
