As a concerned South African citizen who has fully accepted the govt decison towards this initiative, I am really perturbed at the current status quo in Vereeniginf especially around Botha Street and Rhodes Avenue. What is going on there is really worrisomeThere
isacornershop

Botha Street Corner Shop (cnr Botha & Rhodes streets) that is manned by the Nigerians in full view and collaboration with the Local peace offers who drive there to collect their dues This has been going own since ages ago.
We have been reporting their activities and what is hurting/discouraging is that even our flying squad guys also benefits In a nutshell Vereeninging is run by Nigerians There is totally no army visibility especially around the Hotspot which we have been reporting for ages The situation is worsening and we see an increase in the number of dealers
There seems to be totally no solution as the peaceofficers are behind this which might give one suspicion that our guys are actually runinng this trade. You will always see our kids milling around this corner in search of their stuff.

We are really sick and tired During the first few days, it was cool and then all of a sudden the tuckshop and the usual activities resumed. Now its worse because they even slaughter chicken and drink in public Those guys are arrogant and whatever they do is to spite us and in public because they are in cahoots withourpolice officers

Kindly Honourable Minister assist us regarding this. When we dial 10111, we are told that our concerns were reffered to the local police sattion which becomes a futile exercise.
