As a long term "legal" resident of South Africa - 42 years - I would love to have the opportunity to vote. I'm sure there are many others who, like me, who feel the same. Obtaining citizenship is an option but it is extremely difficult/ cumbersome when one is older and there's almost no information available on how to go about it. Something to consider.
