A child was hitted by car on the 31 of December 2019......Case reported on the 2nd the following day since he was hospitalized at polyclinic.They stayed at the charge office the whole day on the 2nd January 2020 awaiting for Van so to go to the scene where accident happened,it was a hit and run case, yesterday again 3rd Jan 2020 his Mom went and stayed the whole day and no assistance .,....same story was said to her:NO POLICE VANS- Only one Van is available to deal with the whole of KWAMASHU who has 14 Sections.When the Van arrived around 2pm she was told her case is very delaying for now they are going to assist those to issue protection orders since they've been waiting for days also.
This is frustrating and in acceptable .
