Receive revolutionary greetings in the name of free and fair education for all. To be brief. I am Koketso Mahlangu COSAS leader in Moretele sub-region North West Province. We had a March on 28 February 2024 to demand the reopen of Moretele tvet college that was later turned into government offices since 2012. Because the first march was on 2017 led by COSAS 18th NEC president the second March was on 2020 around December. The Collage was once the center excellence in this entire sub-region. The department of higher education science and innovation spokesperson since promised to respond to the our grievances till today we haven't received anything yet. We call on the Deputy minister and the minister of department of higher education and training Dr Blade Nzimande to intervene on this matter.The Provincial government must also assist in building or renewing the college because on the previous budget presented education is the highest department with highest budget allocated. It's been years since our current government is denying the community of Moretele an opportunity to improve quality of their lives through education .
