Please be advised that the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Mineral
Resources and Energy was scheduled to conduct oversight at Koeberg in early
2021. This was unfortunately cancelled for Covid related reasons. I
enquired of the Chairperson of the Committee a few weeks ago, and he agreed
that the oversight was necessary and overdue. I have subsequently written
to him to remind him of this undertaking and feel certain that this will
occur in the near future.

In the interim, I continue to put pressure on the National Nuclear
Regulator, who are directly responsible for ensuring the safety and
compliance of nuclear facilities. In this regard, I attach my most recent
press statement on the matter.
