I hope this message finds you well.
I am a tenant at a social housing flats in Roodepoort - Tshedzani Phase 1 since 2008.
My problem is that I have paid more than 300.000 00 renting a Government flat but it is high time that you do something about this sorry state that we find ourselves in. We cannot rent for life. That is unjust and worse than what the apartheid government because this is our own government doing this to us. There is talks about land expropriation and on the other hand we are denied the right to own after so may years paying rent to the government. As a mother I believe you will make an informed and decisive decision on this matter and to us this put a stop to this massive exploitation.
