My mother who is 78 years old was attacked by my brother at home on the 1st of this month,I was one of the people who called the police for several times and what they said is that they will come when the van comes back we waited but they never showed up. The next morning we took our mother to the police station and opened a case we waited there with an old woman until we decided to go back home because she was not feeling well which was caused by sitting on an uncomfortable chair for a long time and also with an advice of another police lady who also promised that they will come nobody came .While waiting outside the police station we saw police being given money by people who were there and also they were going in and out and the way some of them were drunk it's a shaim that we still call that Mtshebheni a police station instead of a tarven and I think some of the tarvens are way cleaner than what I saw that's a disgrace to say" I lead that place" ...And on the 6th my sister decided to go back and after a long waiting in the police station then she got a van to go and arrest my brother which was full of drunken police officers then by the time they arrived he was not there. Then they left saying if he comes back please urgently call us we will come back ,then he did come back and when we called them they kept on saying we coming now until this very moment. I am writing this to you just because I'm hurt very much with what happens to my mother every day being abused at his age and when we practice the law its doesn't help us and not knowing what's next PLEASE INTERVIN.
