We are writing as concerned Funza Lushaka students at the University of South Africa (UNISA).

We have waited for approximately three months without receiving our allowances. We have been patient and have accepted repeated explanations, promises, and statements, but our financial situation has become unbearable.

We no longer need more communication or promises that a statement will be issued. We need our outstanding allowances to be paid immediately.

Many students are struggling to buy food, pay rent, access the internet, and meet other basic living expenses. This delay is affecting our studies, our well-being, and our ability to continue with our academic responsibilities.

We therefore demand that the Department of Basic Education urgently release the funds owed to UNISA so that our allowances can be paid without any further delay.

Students have waited long enough. We deserve action, not more updates.

We respectfully request:

* The immediate release of all outstanding Funza Lushaka allowance funds.
* A confirmed payment date.
* No further delays or vague communication.

We expect urgent intervention and immediate payment of our allowances.
