I have applied on January 21st 2025 for a reissue of my ID. I was told that it will take a month and I must wait for a SMS to come and collect it. It is now 26 February 2025 making it 37 days since the application went in. Nothing, no SMS no email or phone call. I tried to track it online and I receive a blunt message that my contact details are not registered. I tried to register and I am told that those contact details are already registered.
I am desperate as I am trying to get my new black SASSA card and SASSA do not accept anything but a green book ID or a ID Smartcard. Can you please help me. my application reference is YDJ-0AB94E50-7UW1AU-J. I reside in Stellenryk Cape Town. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter and please can it be done urgently as the time frame for the SASSA Card is running out.
