Hope you are doing well today.

I have a serious problem and i cannot get it corrected. I applied for an ID in nelspruit home affairs in 2017. I unfortunately was not able to collect it on time and only collected it now on 27 september 2024. I previously went there several times to be shown away after standing the whole day in a queue and also went again and after two hours in the queue was told the EFF walked in and closed it down for the day. I live in Randburg in Johannesburg and cannot travel anymore there. When i fetched my ID I was told they cannot release it on the system and Pretoria Home affairs must do it. I was told i was put on a list that was sent through and still after checking with Randburg every week nothing is changing. I need to do my new ID under my married surname so i can claim maternity UIF and at the moment i do not have money to go from here back to Nelspruit. Nelspruit did give me the ID card but it needs to be updated on the system so i can get a new one. I have emailed everybody in this region and nelspruit and phoned but nelspruit does not answer emails or phones on any number I have tried. Randburg was generous enough to try and contact them but still nothing is happening. Can I maybe ask if Minister can assist? I can supply phone records and emails if needed. Im at wits end here.
