We applied for my son’s ID Book and Passport in January 2024. We require these documents quite urgently, as we need to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain, as our Visa’s BRP’s will expire in December. I cannot get the E-Visa for my son, as his passport expired in January, and they refused to give us a child passport last year, due to him being nearly 16 Years old.

Since application for the ID Book and Passport, we have not received any information. And any requests are falling on deaf ears. You cannot speak to anybody about the application, and all you get is silence when trying to get information.

Phoning the High Commission does not help, as they never answer the phone, and the one time they did, I was told I need to send an email, and hung up the phone.

I am at my wits end, and I am not able to get anybody to actually care enough to help us.
