I really ask for your intervention, Home affairs made an error on my niece birth registration and register her as male instead of female(Department error). She is 22 years we have lost all hope in home affairs, DG Tommy Makhode have been very helpful and responded swiftly to my emails and asked relevant people to assist with my case but nothing is done, it has been two years going to 3rd year Home affairs cannot correct their mistake, I was told that her birth records cannot be found by someone at home affairs call center, she is suicidal during easter she was telling us she want to die because she feels useless, she applied for EPWP project were 20 male and 20 female were needed in the community, she was rejected because on EPWP Data based her ID number says male, The minister you have no idea how she felt, she cried so much she couldn’t handle rejection.

I was watching you addressing the nation regarding Bester saga, my heart was bleeding, asking my self how can home affairs take two years to correct my niece gender, But Thabo Bester is getting highest priority about his birth records.
