Please would you ask the question as to explain why a SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZEN who was not born in South Africa cannot use the online portal to create a profile to renew a passport.

This seems ludicrous.... I am a South African Citizen, with a South African Identity book AND a current South African passport but I am not allowed to use this function. WHY???

Please explain.
